The Handbook
02:50
|
|
||
I wasn't always a monster you see
I used to be several people who breathed
But if you ever want to make a monster like me
I have the handbook, the handbook, the handbook right here
First you must have a wicked desire
A taste for the necromatic hard-wired
Second the stomach to sift through remains
Of beggars and thieves, the departed insane
The handbook, the handbook, the handbook you see
If you ever want to make a monster like me
Third, hone the edge of scientific technique
For the customized lab you'll develop for me
Fourth, have no fear to meddle with fate
And call forth a brand new being incarnate
The handbook, the handbook, the handbook you see
If you ever want to make a monster like me
Finally, stand by this creature you've wrought
To fill it with all of the virtues of thought
Do not abandon this child you've brought
Through the dastardly deed of the playing of God
For I wasn't always a monster you see
I was raised by the real monster innocently
But if you ever want to make a monster like me
I have the handbook, the handbook, the handbook right here

Unlikely Friendship
03:03
|
|
||
So many worlds apart
So far from where we started
I came from the skies above
You came from where life sprouted
You're my best friend
You're my best friend
You're my best friend
I don't even know your name
I'm your best friend
I'm your best friend
I'm your best friend
You don't even know my name
Whizzing in this tiny bubble
Just the two of us forever
Everyday I spend with you
I feel us growing closer
As you grow toward UV lights
And I steer our starbound craft
So many worlds away
From anything the other knows
All the galaxies rushing by
Never even know we're here

Tubawoman
02:22
|
|
||
When tenions are high and there's mischief about
When people need help and they're troubled with doubt
When bad guys abound and the city's in fear
Perk up your ears - now what do you hear?
Tubawoman to the rescue!
Bringing the good times!
Tubawoman to the rescue!
Fighting all the crime!
From deep in the earth she rumbles to life
And springs to her brass to go tackle the strife
For the fattest of tones and the loudest of tunes
To fearlessly take on the criminal loons
Tubawoman
Tubawoman to the rescue!
Bringing the good times!
Tubawoman to the rescue!
Fighting all the crime!
Bringing songs of strength and cheer
She lends her craft to every ear
For justice, for mercy, for love - huzzah
She hefts her mighty shining tuba
For all the people in all the land
She leaps to lend a thundering hand
Tubawoman to the rescue!
Bringing the good times!
Tubawoman to the rescue!
Fighting all the crime!

Rain
02:55
|
|
||
April showers bring May flowers
But the rain hasn't stopped its falling
In the valleys hear the mudslides
Water rushing never ceases calling
We were dry, kept afloat
By the sound of our own laughter
Now it's dark and cold to boot
You were gone, no one coming after
40 days and 40 nights
Rain falling on my crown
River swelling in its banks
I'm floating on
I thought the roof would always hold
As I held my hand to you
NEver saw the strong give way
LIke soggy banks now do
I did my best to hold to you
But I lost my anchor
I was saved but never found you
Lost in the river's anger

Rear Window
02:15
|
|
||
(POV 1)
Wearing my camo and beareing my 410
I was hunting mighty turkey by the river bend
Just a couple miles south of Stockfarm Bridge
And I left my old pickup parked upon a riege
It was miles off the road on the government land
When I first saw the shack in a hardwood stand
Knocking on the door man there ain't nobody home
But I thought I saw a face in the rear window
Well it ain't the kind of thing I ever seen before
Had Satanic looking writing painted on the door
Then I thought I heard the chant of pagan rites
Sounding mighy evil with the coming of night
It was miles off the road on teh government land
Now I'm running from the shack in the hardwood stand
Firing my gun to the left and the right
Leave that rear window and its awful sight
(POV 2)
(Laughing)
Wee diddle doo, wee diddle dee
Satan, Lord of Darkness I call upon thee
I've baked scones and brewed herbal tea
For us to enjoy during daytime TV
We'll watch soap operas and SVU
Springer, Judge Judy, Ellen, and The View
We shall brush each other's hair
Tawdry secrets we shall share
Satan rise up from your throne
So I don't have to solve this crossword puzzle alone
We'll play jacks, we'll play chess
